do you guys ever carry cheat sheets with you around with openers and routines?

I can generally remember stuff like that but sometimes my mind just goes completely blank if I get uncomfortable.

sometimes its hard to make a phase shift or move the conversation into something else and keep it going.

I usually dont but it is perfectly fine bringing out a cheat sheet. Style would always go out with one. Though you should aim to get to the point where you dont need it, so you will appear more natural. Women can tell if your trying to remember things and thus you will appear fake. The goal is to become "natural" at what you do, to become your routines, to make them who you are.
