This isn't really a question on what to say, but if what I need to do requires I say something specific then that's fine. There's this girl who works at our rec center and she sits behind a counter. The thing is, when she's sitting back there, she's not facing out so for me to approach her, I'd need to stand at the counter to get her attention. I first noticed her when I needed to get change for a bill and I just asked her for change. Short conversation and I didn't try anything on her. I walk by there a lot in between classes and I've always wanted to approach, but I don't know how to talk to her without just going up to the counter and waiting there for her to notice me. I don't have a problem with what to say, but first I need to be able to actually talk to her first. Any suggestions? I don't need any lines, but I can make them work or appear genuine if you have some awesome suggestion.

Instead of standing at the counter, do wt you did before and ask for some change and then get the conversation started from there/

Ask for change again? I just did it no more than 2 weeks ago. It might be a bit too obvious right?

go and have a funny text message on ur phone or it can be straight bs then start laughing say look at this and hand her the phone form there strike up conversation and run game... or go to the counter and pretend like ur ringing the bell and do the ring noise and say excuse me can i get service but u have to say it real sarcastically and like ur in a rush

I'm thinkin u just have approach anxiety ...so just go for it do what feels natural talk about something goin on and run ur game remember the 3secz rule is ur friend
