Hey everyone, I recently got into day game and have started opening in coffee shops around my city. I am usually able to open well and start good coversations in these locales (i'm usually indirect), but I was wondering for example, how to open sets in college campuses, (I go to UCLA). Throughout the day I see attractive girls walking from one class to another, or back to their apartments as well as in this huge lunchroom near where i have class (called cooperage). I was wondering what kind of openers would work well for a girl walking by herself in your direction, to and from class, or if you see them sitting by themselves in a lunchroom. I prefer indirect, or situational openers, until i get better with them and move on to direct game.

I go to college in England and I have been doing day game for maybe two months now. It's all about getting the approach, once you've got the approach, then the hook, and bang you're in.

I'd say stick to indirect openers, or C&F direct bu it has to be funny. Indirect because direct works better in clubs and bars and things or night game.

If they are on their own, or two/three-set then just go for it using classic mystery method. Main thing is that you don't appear too needy - pawn a few people in the room, walk passed the target then go back a little and talk to her. Never approach from behind. Once you've done your opener have a good transition ready. Remember to time constraint, kino immediately and false-disqualify if the girl is hot.

Always hit the AMOG first or leader of the group, unless she is the target. Always ignore the target/neg her until you've reached the hook. Once you've built up enough attraction you can qualify her.

The other main thing about the approach is body language. If they are sitting, I start the opener standing, then once I have their attention, WHILST YOU'RE TALKING (so they don't even realise) pull up a seat and sit down with them. This is totally natural. I actually did this while going right on the other side of a table once in my college café and they didn't seem to notice.

If it is a large group, hit one on the outside first, the others will be interested, then move onto them and carry on as usual. Unless you're pro you can't keep all their attentions going all the time so try and multi-thread with some of them and isolate asap.

Isolation is the hardest part. It's good if you have a wing to help.

Was with my mate Justin. Asked him to pick me any target in the café. He chose the hottest girl there, a HB8.5 in the corner on her own. Perfect I thought, small sets are my niche.

So I went in with who lies more (openers for me are easy now, I just choose whatever I feel like opening with), sat down whilst saying it, some fluff talk, DHV story, hand/kino test…I made her laugh a lot, she was a fun sarge…I anchored every laugh with a touch on her shoulder, then at the end added DHV story, neg, time constraint, qualify her, and number close. She didn’t know her number haha so got out her phone to give it to me.

I later found out she had a 22-year-old bf. Haha funny. She shit tested me once, I guess a true sign of being a HB8…I ignored it and carried on with routines.

I’m pretty confident I can number close any 1 or 2-set in 10 mins tops now. And that’s solid game, not shakey flakes. I came back to my mate and asked him how long that sarge took, he said 5 mins. He said he'd been trying to get her number for a while
