what is the evidence against limiting believes?

I have a friend who is studying psychology and we had a discussion about these limiting believes or excuses for not talking to women. My friend asked me why wouldn't i go and talk to the girl i like the look of. I said no i'll probably creep her out or ignore me. my friend then asked why or what evidence is there. I couldn't think of any at first, then started thinking of reasons that might creep her out but the answer is there is none. then my friend asked what evidence is there against me creeping her out. the answer is she doesn't know me and the fact ive already thought about how i could creep her in, i wont creep her out cos i will know not to do them.

Evidence for the girl ignoring me, there is none. evidence against her ignoring me is that she never heard me

Sometimes i'll think to myself that a woman will hate me and will say something rude to me

Evidence for, none. Evidence against, she doesn't know me or may have something on her mind or had a bad day if she does say something rude

I feel it helps me to ask these two questions to myself when approaching a woman and i hope it helps you too.

Keep it up. It will be difficult in the starting but after some times you will be natural with everything.
