So there's this HB5 that I met but never got the name of... she has friend that's a HB8... I went up to the HB5 today to say hi and get her name... I gave her a handshake, and I held her hand while we were talking for almost 10 seconds untill she let go. Anyway... it was a good flowing conversation, I got her to laugh, light flirting, and joked around a bit... and at the end I told HB5 that I have a huge crush on her HB8 friend... HB5 said she's going to tell her HB8 friend that I like her.

My question is... was this a wrong thing to do? and how should I handle it... HB8 will approach me at some point... thanks

Well it depends on the relationship you have with HB5 and if she's looking to set you up with HB8. If she likes you in a sexual way then she could get jealous that you like her friend better. Its best to try to meet up with both of them so it looks normal and then talk to the HB8 that you like and build a solid connection with her.
