I made up this opener on the fly at a club one night. Its basically kind of like the same concept as the mystery "did you see the fight outside" opener.

You: Did you see that girl fall on the dance floor?
HB: No, I didn't
You: Yeah I think someone spilled a drink on the floor and a girl slipped and fell.
HB: lol
You: But heres the best part she was wearing a skirt and nothing underneath. And everyone on the floor saw it.


Its still new so I've only tried it a few times. So far I've got 2 number closes after three attempts. Hey guys test it out and let me know how it works out.

Actually I don't think that an opener decides if you get a Number-, Kiss- or F*ckclose. An opener just opens the set (well, if you bring a bad one u have already lost before u started working the set, so don't get me wrong, the opener ist quite important), what matters are the conversation & the body language after the opener.

So u can't say "The Opener got me the number"... right?

Also, even if you got the best opener, the very important thing is that you know how to continue, i think i will try it on next thursday, or some kind of this opener

I know an opener doesn't determine a number close. But its the way to break the ice to start chatting with a set. What good is it to have opening skills if you can't follow through. It would be like always getting to second base but never being able to bring it home. I like situational openers because its less likely to be noticed as a canned material.
