Okay, dude. Helping a woman is just common courtesy, aside from the nice thing to do. Just walking past and nodding in their general direction, if you see that they're struggling, IMO is just not the best move. Just help them out, introduce yourself, convo ensues. It's not hard or anything, as mentioned earlier, it is quite good icebreaker actually. Why do people always assume neg'ing and being a dick is the only way to get laidl?

The next time you think something is needy, try this. If you were struggling with some heavy box, would you have found it to be strange or needy if someone helped you?
