a few weeks ago, i told a friend i saw a cute girl
yesterday i got a message of him with the phone number of her
He asked for it straight away, explaining the situation.
She dont know me, we only said hi to each other.
I dont wanna be that AFC to text her with an oneliner.
Any suggestions?

The only oppertunity i got on my mind is to text her like this

me= sorry
she= for what
me= insert name's behaviour
she= hahahaha no problem he asked for it nice

good idea or not
any suggestions how to go further

This is a safe opener. Depending on the girl, it is ok to start with. But then, think what the next step should be. I mean the text message would otherwise stop after the fourth line.....

If she is hot, and likes flirting/teasing, maybe something more 'raw/edgier'?

A hit or miss is the following:
me= Hi, i met you last wednesdy and i want to meet you again. Your jokes are so funny!
she= huhh?? what jokes??
me= hahahahah, jokes like this!

It is much better if instead you could arrange a group of your friend and her friends get together. But now that she knows you are interested in her, you have to turn the situation around, which means make sure that you are not interested, before you approach.

I am not a fan of approaching through the phone or social media, since it is kind of creepy.

Well.. you're already the AFC who had to get her phone number through your friend. So no fear on that account. :mrgreen:

Don't open by apologizing. Tell her you don't usually get in contact with girls like this (do you?). Or start off with a joke as already suggested. :D
