Does breaking rapport mean being rude and unfriendly? Don't you think that it may backfire? When you go to the field, you should smile, right? So since you are smiling, how can you throw unfriendly/rude words and break rapport? Is it congruent?
Hey I like the way your thinking transforming. Breaking rapport is about being funny/witty and not rude and obnoxious. There is a fine line you play when breaking rapport you want to shock her but not insult and it will take time which will earn you calibration points. My recommendation is break rapport until you destroy it and than work backwards. Once you know where the line is tone it down a hair and start building rapport and comfort.
Example: What do you do here? just stuff.
Break rapport here; she is giving you very little information and its almost showing disinterest.
How to break rapport?
What's the relationship among breaking rapport, neg theory, and disqualification theory?
Negging is a way to break rapport while the immediate purpose of breaking rapport is to let the target think that you are not after her, right?
