So I read about the 'apocalypse opener' the other night. For those of you who haven't heard of it, read this:

I got me thinking, this can never work. But then I thought of a simple twist, which makes it a little playful. The trick is to make it into a female opinion opener.

PUA: Let me ask you something.
HB: OK.
PUA: )This can be any story you want, just tell it so that the result will end in something like; If an incredibly hot guy would come over and try it, would it work on you?
Hopefully the HB will say yes or maybe. If she does say thanks and then leave. After 5 minutes, re open and then use the apocalypse opener with a big smile.

Now I haven't fieldtested this, but I really think this could be worth a shot!

I think you should field test the the Shock and Awe before you try and adjust it. This is the first i have read of it. The way you are trying to adjust it weakens the whole fucking line. Its like the AFC way of delivering it. You have to do this with confidence, or its just not going to work one bit. I can see how this would work. A woman will respect the fact that you had the nuts to drop the shock and awe like this to her.

The way you are trying to adjust it makes it seem like you are asking her if it is ok for you to hit on her. I read an interview with Shirly Manson(lead singer of Garbage) several years ago. The interviewer asked her what was the best line she had ever heard. She replied with "I want to fuck you." Why you ask? Because it takes balls the size of grapefruits to deliver this line. By just asking that you are showing confidence. By beating around the bush to ask it, you are showing weakness. No girl is going to say "yes this works on me" cause they will come off like a slut.

Just pull the trigger.

Dammit you're right. It's kind of asking permission.
But I have to admit that for now, I'm not going to FT shock and awe.
Maybe in the future. Still, it may seem a little AFC, but I thing with some HB's, this 'AFC way' as you refer to it may have a little potential.
Any tips on altering it so that it would seem less AFC, or just scrap the whole opener/routine?
