Hello everyone! I am new to the PUA forum but I've been implementing PUA tactics into my game for going on a year. This particular topic is regarding picking up someone at their job while they're working. For instance, there is this girl at a local shop that I go to in LA who shows IOI's every time I see her. Her body language shows interest, she talks more to me than other customers that she serves, and we engage in flirtatious conversation. Now my inquiriy lies here... When someone works, especially women, they are given a certain amount of pressure from guys coming and going while trying to pick them up and stare at them. The server (in this situation the girl I've been building interest with) is also given the pressure to be polite, nice, and helpful to customers despite certain people hitting on them when they may not like it. NOW... Yesterday I went into the shop and we we're making conversation and she was talking about how she's working so much. I asked her if when she has a day off if she wanted to get to know each other outside of the shop over dinner and she said that she works until next Tuesday and was blushing. She also said "try maybe next time" before I left. I'm wondering if this was a decline on her part, or a test? A test as in tests that girls throw out to see if a guy will peruse or not. Thoughts? Eh... Assume it's a polite rejection, but don't stop gaming her. Don't ask her out again until she subtlety hints at meeting you outside of her work place. If you ask her out again directly you'll just seem desperate and like a try hard. Also, try escalating physically with her (not making out, but at least lightly brushing her shoulder, waist, etc).
