It is often advocated to walk up to a woman, during the day, and be direct.

For example, in Charlie Valentino's book about daygame, he uses this approach;

"Hi, I saw you from across the way and thought you were gorgeous. I was wondering. Are you nice too?"

What he does is instantly switch to screening the girl. I think this is fine, but have tweaked it to be a little more cocky and selective with my screening. Goes like this;

"Hey, sweetie. You are really easy on the eyes, but I have a question: Are you a feminist?"

By calling her sweetie, the presupposed disposition is kind. This (theoretically) will encourage the girl to live up to that moniker. Secondly, 'You are really easy on the eyes' is a classy way to tell a woman she looks good while not tripping over your tongue drooling on yourself. Lastly, by asking if she is a feminist you screen out the emasculating headcases and lesbians. If she says that she is a feminist, just say, "Oh, well it was nice meeting you. I'll be on my way now." Why? Because feminism is a lie straight from the pit of hell and any woman who is a feminist is going to put your nuts in a ballbag and hang them from her ears like jewelry.

I find this to be the quintessential qualification screening question. Very simple. "Are you a feminist?"

If she says she is not or even asks "why?", then you can just say that you are a man who leads, not an effeminate, emasculated nice guy that takes orders and friendzones himself.

It's not that tough and I've seen that it works. Women like men with a backbone. Doesn't matter what you look like, it matters more that you have a spine.
