I would like to get your advice on closing in on an acquaintance. This is my first post here but I have been lurking around the forum for a while now.

There's this acquaintance of mine whom I'm met last summer for a brief period. She said I looked cute to my brother (she's my brother's good friend actually...) but then we didn't get a chance to do stuff together. She's coming to visit me for 4 days in 2 weeks time. I know I have a good chance to close her, but somewhere back of my mind I have a fear that I might switch to "gentleman" (read loser) mode and end up hosting her and doing nothing.
1. Do I act quick or let the time do its thing?
2. How do I move from being a good, cute acquaintance to a "I want you to give it to me right now" friend - shall I keep on flirting/seducing her or drop hints with push-pull techniques?

Any advice much appreciated..
