I have always been awful with eye contact due to my lack of confidence and self consciousness. Any tips on how to work on it? Thanks guys!

What ive found that has worked for me, is just doing it, and adding in a smile. A few months back i could even look or smile at a chick due to being shy, but now i automatically give eye contact and smile at chicks. I dont even realise im doing it.

Yea it is really about forcing yourself to give eye contact and learning to be comfortable doing it.
I recommend everytime you pass an attractive stranger to stare until she break eye contact.
The trick is be able to have a very content face like a little smile then slowly start to smile.

The reaction you want is a smile back. Go practice it in the mirror.

You can also add a 'hi' in the middle of it.

Hitster is on the money, holding eye contact with a chick, is a great start. I remember when i was 17, 5 years ago, i was so insecure and a chick smiled at me as she walked past, i thought she was just being friendly. Anyways found out she was in my hotel, i had found out previous to going if a woman holds eye contact with you for more then like 3-5 seconds she's interested. So as i walked past i stared her into the eyes, we had an "eye connection for about 8 seconds until i had gone past her and was looking in front of me, i knew she was in, but i never approached her, which is a learning curve. i learnt to live in the moment, dont say ill do it in 5 mins, or tomorrow. Lastnight i made eye contact and smiled at a chick, she smiled back. For the next 5 minutes, she was talking with her friends staring at me smiling. I was like ill do it later, as i went to leave i was like alright im gonna do it. To late a guy had bet me to it. Just do it or live with regret.

Something that help guys and helped me initially is to see what color their eyes are.
Set a goal that you will write down the eye color for every person you talk to or see through out the day.
This will definitely will help you. I know the writing part seems a bit much but if you are struggling, that effort is required on your part.

I've never had a problem with eye contact. I suggest you stare into the eyes of every person you speak to throughout the day, male or female and don't look away until they do. Turn it into a game. Whoever looks away first loses the game!
