this is what happened i still havent responded and it has been 14hrs
I want to know if she likes me or not, I do like her but i how do i get her to open up and this was on the night of valentines day

I think you are being too "sweet" and not being the attraction. I say drop it, if she brings it up just say "ehh nothing I always right poems for girls, that wasn't even one of my best." Otherwise act like it was nothing - pull it off like she ISN'T something special and u do this a lot, if she asks for you to say your "best" poem, neg her asking her if she thinks you are some kind of poem slave or something.

Honestly, it seems like ur about to get friendzoned. Just build the attraction a bit, make her WANT more poems / you in general.

jamesd has a good idea. If you wanna show her you can write poetry that's cool, go for it. A good artistic skill to have. Now make her want you to write a poem for her. Neg her for it and act like it's more of a chore.
