Had a good convo going over a dating site then email with a girl. I tell her that an ex still cleans my place (in exchange for money, like a maid), and she blows up.

I'd like some advice on how to turn this around. Ideally more interesting advice than 'as soon as any chick does anything you don't like, NEXT her." I'm trying to improve my game by blowing past obstacles in addition to just making more approaches.

Me:

"I too outsource my cleaning. I use someone I know personally. She's much better than the services I've used in the past, she already knows where and how I like things, and she'd drastically underbill hours if I let her get away with it (and is still cheaper besides). Full disclosure, she and I used to date. "

Her

"Interesting that your ex-girlfriend is willing to scrub your toilets and undercharge you for it. It seems rather desperate if you ask me, and most women who have any kind of self respect. It's definitely not the behavior of a smart, professional, self-sufficient woman. If you would ever consider dating a woman who has a good career and wants it all, then it would be wise to let go of the ex and stop fooling yourself into thinking that any woman would like to date a guy whose ex is desperate to get him back and cleaning is place at a discount, that's a little too close for comfort. If she had totally moved on, she would be spending her time with other people rather than cleaning your place, or if she did it because she needed money, she would insist on fair monetary compensation.

It would be wise and more respectful to your ex to be clear with her and tell her to move on. Now you seem like a guy who is taking advantage of her financially and emotionally, as keeping an "admirer" around is comforting for a man who is afraid of being alone - consciously or not."

She is giving you shit and you and no compliance, next her and move on.

Oh ya the reason nexting is better then trying to blow through these kind of encounters is probably not what you think. The best reason is that these failed interactions lead to continued difficulty and involve emotional investment over time. If you get in the habit of trying to make bad situations work out under the belief you would rather persist then move on, your game wont develop very much and you wont have a very good results anyway with the non-compliant bitches you are dealing with.

And as an aside do you think if someone waved a magic wand and turned this chick around for you she wouldn't be a huge pain in the ass as soon as the magic fairy dust wore off?

sorry to tell you exactly what you don't want to hear.
