So you give a time constraint that you have to leave shortly or that your freinds are waiting for you. The conversation seems to be going well until she reminds you of your time constraint.

"Didn't you say you have to be going?"
"Aren't your friends waiting for you?"
Does this mean she is uninterested? I ask this question for two reasons:

1. Maybe she is just remembering what you previously said
2. No one wants to be "that guy" whom she is trying repeatedly to get rid of

So how should one play this card? Is it smart to head out of the conversation at this time? Are there better time constraint examples that will offer you a chance to explain/stay?

There are three options for you here.

Generally she is:
1- not interested (very rarely if your game is good and "The conversation seems to be going well" as you say)
OR
2- she is just saying it playfully

Option 1- Pawning. What mystery refers to opening a lot of sets and just combining them or just using of the set as your safe set and you can go to them everytime you feel like rejected.
Option 2- Just eject. I believe if she is asking you weren't you supposed to go that you didn't did so well in your game because I have never had times when I'm having a good convo and the girl asks me that so best just move on.
Option 3- Now this is really rare but girls sometimes do that. They will just be playful and say it just remind you. In that case you just say:
PUA:"Yes you are right and you are in big trouble for keeping me away from my friends!!" said playfully back of course

She is not interested. You can always have fun with and start bantering. For example: "Omg! reminder app fired! Your are now the new replacement."
