I tend to go out in the daytime mostly in the street and shops with indirect openers. I have only been trying to do PUA for two months but it keeps happening to me that they will 'tell' me they have a boyfriend by dropping him into the conversation somehow, usually after about a minute or two.

Whether they actually have got one they care about or they haven't I have kind of mixed feelings about this happening. In one way I see it as a good thing because I think that at least they must have some idea that I am hitting on them - I haven't really got to that part much yet. On the other hand it is obviously bad as I don't really know how to handle it or stop it. I usually just acknowledge it then keep on talking to them but after they've told me that I really don't want to try to escalate to a more personal conversation or make any SOI.

I welcome any thoughts on this... Cheers!

Good point.This shit happens to me ALL the time during day game. For some reason if you met women during the "day" they are more likely to have a BF or give you the i have a bd speech. Even though there are a number of ways to blow this off. Typically i like meeting women during the day, i feel as if i meet more "quality women" than i do in a night club. Just my opinion.

What i usually do in this scenario is make a statement as " Cool, he will give you something do to when im busy!"

Or "Great! He can make us breakfast in bed!"

Ive used this NUMEROUS times during day game which i mostly do, and it works very well. I usually get a smile and open mouth, as they cant believe i made such a comment.

As most guys fold and act like a wussy when they are told a girl they are pursuing has a boyfriend.

Or something else you could do is say," Well..Im gay, and have a girlfriend!"

Usually this catches them off gaurd and makes them laugh, and them just be straight up..Let her know you have respect for relationships, and the people in them. This usally works well and shows her you are deep, and opens up a more deeper conversation. Such as her asking you "Do you have a girlfriend" or such.

This all has worked very well for me, and usually end up in a number close with the female!

Thanks for the advice guys. I can see how going direct will make things easier straight off the bat but it's hard for me to approach directly at the moment, I get scared I will get a bad reaction. I think I need to go to a nearby town where nobody knows me and just hand out free compliments all day to get myself past this block.

I see how direct is the only real way to do it though as it is hard to stop somebody just walking by and then talk crap about something that hasn't got much to do with them. Easier in a shop or if there is something going on.

Those lines are good, I see how making a bit of a joke then showing respect for relationships would work.
