Hey all,

I'm new to the gaming scene, and decided to go the Facebook route for practice.
So I see this HB7-ish, who is also a Freshman at my college, and take the plunge:


Me: Hey, not to be creepy, but where do I know you from? You look really familiar for some reason.

HB: i dont know but you look familiar to me too


How should I direct this conversation? My man instincts tell me to lead it to meeting in person, but I have no clue how to get there....

Suggestions?

personally i would stay away from that sort of thing because of the stigma. but my friend tim who is definitely a natural would be able to work with it. ive seen him make plans to meet up with girls that he knows on facebook more then in real life but the thing is it is always totally obvious that these chicks are into him and at that point its like he can do no wrong. i'm also totally new to this but if it were me i would just leave everything alone for now and try to find her at school somehow and then approach her... maybe pretend you didnt recognize her (or hell even y something like "hey its you!"). there are probably a few things you could do with this but i would suggest you do them face to face.

The only problem with finding her in person is that my school has about 26k undergrads....

I just need to meet her in person and I can go from there. The problem is not sounding like a rapist haha.

I'm probably over-analyzing it, but her telling me that I look familiar seems inviting considering we've never actually met. Though, it helps that I'm attractive.

Dont try and arrange a meeting after one message, if thats what you ment.

Id go with a message that gives her options for guessing where you know her from, along these lines: 1 teasing joking option (crazy exgf, fat childhood neighbour, whatever), college, and a couple of interesting activities you may have been a part of.
Example:
"mmmmm i can only think of a few options: either u were (insert random neg/joke), or you go to (insert college), ooor you wouldnt happen to have been in my photography group last summer?"


Then you can engage the conversation a tiny bit more before directly asking a date. Id go direct live but internet has the creepy stigma so id say try to have a normal convo first.

I'd go for exactly this approach too, It's good to mix up a lot of humor aswell, that's what college girls love.

Just add in something like ''Hmm, I might know you from ... or ... or it might've been You who was staring at my window last night. something along these lines just as ^ said.
