Hey all, this is my first post so bare with me lol

I have majoy AA. When i am sitting at home or at a mates house i always think to myself "Today i will go out and approach girls and see how it goes" But i never do. I have confidence issues. Not with people i have already spoken to, only girls i have never spoken to. I have only approached twice in my life, both times i was drunk.

I really don't think i'm a good looking guy. I can't take good photos of myself and i only have male friends and it seems a bit weird to say "Hi mate, can you take a photo of me" lol To see a picture of me. Go onto Myyearbook . com/ members / 40729756

When i speak to people online my mind just goes completely blank, i never know what to say, how to say it and if it's coming out right. I can talk to girls that are friends, i flirt with them all the time but a stranger, well i just lose it lol. I'm not a virgin, my previous girlfriend was about 10 months ago and we were together for 21 months. So basicly what i'm saying is i'm experienced with girls, just not picking girls up.

Maybe you should read some inner game books, like the Power of Now. It seems like a problem of confidence where you just dont feel comfortable while picking up. You may even try some of the canned material from books like the mystery method or watch simple pickup in youtube to get an idea of how the thing works.

Very simple. Use the situation to start a conversation. If she is drinking something, start a conversation about that. You'll be surprised how talking about a simple cup of coffee can turn into a date. For example:

You: Oh, that smells good. What is that?
Her: It's...
You: Damn, I think I'm getting one of those. What does it have in it?
Her: It has...
You: Yeah...I'm definitely getting one of those. I would ask you for a sip but I don't know if you got cooties [say it with a smile]. Nah, I'm joking.
Her: [she laughs]
You: Do you drink here a lot?
Her: Yeah, I love this place.
You: Depending on how this drink taste, I'll probably stop by more often. How long are you gonna be here?
Her: Oh, I just got here so probably for a while.
You: Okay, when I get my drink, we should head over to that table. I'm not staying long and I could use the company while I drink this.
Her: Okay.

You just got yourself an "instant date" ask the PUA community calls it. You can use this time to get to know her a little and see if she's worth your time, then you can get her number once it's time to leave. When you use the situation and work with it, it will make you appear as a very confident person. Be like a scientist that looks for results. The more you experiment with this type of approach will make you more confident with just talking to any random girl in the street. Remember that, initially, it's all about the comfort not getting the girl. This is a "fairy tale" example so you can get the point to how easy it is. If you look at it as playing instead of trying to get laid you'll start feeling more comfortable talking to any random chick on the street.
