Hey guys I need some suggesstions. if you can provide any insight and tips or techniques, i thank you all.

so there is this hot, flaming chick who i used to have class with a year ago. she graduated from my college last year. we once spoke at a night out, but she was very drunk and i wouldnt even count that as anything special. anyhow, we are friends on facebook and i want to approach her. we never really spoke. how can i message her with an opener. please be informed, i dont want to turn out as a creep. al i need is an opener, after that im alright. any suggesstions?

I have to agree with the above.

I took the indirect approach however. There was a chick that I had wanted to hook up with since 8th (yes, 8th grade... when I was 13).

Well last year (at 26 years old) I had the perfect opportunity to make a slick remark to her on FB.

She made a comment about wanting to pick up a set of red high heels and start some trouble with them. I sent her a direct pm simply stating "That sounds like something I would be interested in."

That was the first conversation between us since probably junior or senior year. She responded. We made talk back and forth. The best part, is I put it on the sexual theme right off the bat by picking up on her comment with the heels. I mean... what else was she looking for?

A few months of texting back and forth... I made the journey back to my home state. We went out for drinks that night. We left the bar, got in my car, and she IMMEDIATELY grabbed me and started making out. Closed it that evening. All because I picked up on one line, and made one off handed comment. Definately go direct in this situation, or you will come off as a creeper. Let her know your interested right out of the gate.

For the record, when I picked her up, guess what she was wearing? You got it. I didnt make a move all night, and knew I didnt have to. She was wearing the closer. By the time we got back to the truck, she made it VERY clear her intentions.

It'd work if you just ask her out when you were having an interaction face-to-face. And that takes more than just talking. In person, you need to approach, DHV, attract, build comfort and KINO (seduce) before you do the close.
