opening and kino escalation

I have been testing the waters recently, opening with a lot of different routines. But ive found myself dead after that. Ill apporach an HB and say something like "hey your pretty cute, i had to introduce myself, Im (blank)... whats ur name?" and so forth. I proceed with my routine.... sometimes im finding myself running out of things to say though. SOme women are less talkative. Does anyone think i should apply some kino escalation to get the vibe a little looser? to get them to open up a bit more?
