Train stations.

Good points:
- There are people who are killing time until they have to catch a train. Most are happy to chat with a fun person.
- Most people are alone.
- It's a busy area, so you, as a stranger, are less scary.
- The crowd changes very regularly.
- Lots of coffee shops locally.
- Obvious warm-ups, eg "Excuse me, do you know if this train goes to [insert name of place it doesn't go to]?"

The only real downside is that you're unlikely to get many day 2s because of the logistics.

Essentially - an ideal practice venue to test material and build confidence.

Probably parks and coffee shops.

clothing stores, especial mid to better ones like Nordstroms and Nordstroms rack. Target, Pier one, Ikea arnt bad either. Bookstores not so much anymore

Book stores really do suck because everybody is buying on kindle or iPad. Nordstroms or Saks are good, but you need to be dressed like you actually shop there to get anywhere. I would suggest electronics stores if you have any knowledge of tech. Girls are always looking for things they need for their computers and have no idea what to get. Makes opening very easy. Other than that, Sporting Goods stores work well too because you get a lot of runners or outdoors types that are generally easy to talk to. Train stations are a great idea, the grocery store is also good. Around like 6-7:30 is the best time to go because the girls are getting off work. Good luck!

I should have mentioned the grocery store, and those times do seem to be the best for hot chicks, except on weekends, in which case noon is better
