I don't think I was apologetic (I've applied that I think) but it was most definitely reactive.

Oh, and is there any good way to garner a girl's attention on a cell phone? Playful tactics must have worked before. I was toying with it a little today, when I offered a girl chatting to someone on a cell a mentos. She declined, but warmly smiled.

The phone thing is way off topic, and lots of people have stopped viewing this thread. It's a good topic, post a new question to the forum and you'll get lots of replies.
