Redsky's France number close routine:

I came up with this and have had some success with it so I thought I might help some of you roly polies who have trouble with creativity or coming up with new material.

Here it is:

Me: Hello, we haven't been introduced I'm (Name).

Girl: Hi, I'm Clarisse

Me: Have you ever been to France, Clarisse?

Girl: No/Yes (Doesn't really matter)

Me: You know in France men will force themselves into taxis just to get a woman to go to dinner with them.

Girl: blah, blah, blah. (wait til she finishes speaking)

Me: Do I need to do that with you? (Say it slow while cracking a sarcastic smile and pull your phone out)

Me: I'll call you now so you have my number.

Girl: Ok, my number is...

Works like a charm. You can continue talking or just tell her you have to go. Either way it gets the number out of the way and you are free to move on to whatever you want to do next.
