I was out shopping for clothes today and I thought of a new opener to use. Pick out a couple of nice shirts and walk up to a girl you find attractive. Ask her if she minds if you ask 2 questions, assuming she says yes you say "I'm going on a first date (ex. Monday) to (pick a nice restaurant) and I was wondering which shirt would look better on me." Hopefully she likes what you picked out and seemed interested. You then say "thank you for the help, my 2nd question is what are you doing Monday might at 9" if all goes well shells give you her number and you'll have a day Monday night. What do you guys think? Any input is appreciated I'm new to the pickup game.

I've actually used something similar last week, "Hey, what would you think if I showed up on our first date wearing this shirt?"
It followed with:
"Are you asking me on a date?"
"Yes, but I'm more concerned about the shirt. Does the color match my eyes?"
"...yes, it does."
"Good, I hope you'll be impressed. Let's meet tomorrow at .... at 8."
"Wait, are you serious?"
"No, you got me. Let's meet at 9."

Automatically started reaching for the phone, she put the number in, exchanged the names, texted her, met up with her. Saw her again this weekend.

I love the wording "our first date" in the opener. It sets the frame perfectly because it can easily be hypothetical. She can read it as you talking about a first date with someone else or her.

I also like the wording of "our first date" going to have to try both and see how they work out. Also good to see yours worked out for you.
