Approaching a girl from back

If your target is walking in front of you, but she is walking in your same direction what is the best way to approach her?
Can you approach her from the back? (If I remember well that is wrong)
Do I have to run, come back and try to be face to face with her?

Start walking along side of her. Keep walking along with her.. Once the conversation hooks, then stop her.

Once I tried along side, but you come from the back, so she does not see you and when you say the first word she get scared. Then she continued talking with me, but get her scared is not a good start.

BEFORE she has to see you near her, and AFTER you can start talking? Or it does not care?

You could always just say "hey" or "excuse me" from behind to make her turn round. That way she can come closer and be drawn to you if she finds you interesting.

Definitely walk along side her, but keep a distance, maybe 3 or 4 feet. if she veers away do not walk with her. continue your path and carry on talking. she may come back in or she wont. Approaching a moving target is very hard to pull off and a lot of mpua's advise against it. Generally women don't walk far, so if your in a shopping centre for example, wait until she goes into a shop or stops for a coffee etc.

The material I've read suggested walking alongside her and kind of pointing off at something in the distance (an imaginary nothing) and then starting to talk to her. I haven't tried it like that, but it works on buses with girls wearing headphones. Point off at anything and then she takes the headphones off to figure out what you're talking about and you open.

The Pickup Artist "Sasha DayGame" actually has a lot of infield footage where he approach's from behind. We runs infront of the women, cuts her off, and says something like "don't panic."
