I live next to Waikiki beach, see these beauties all day every day, but don't know how to approach. They're almost always tourists from out of town and are either sun bathing in their own world, sitting and talking, or splashing in the water. I don't think most have solid plans for the evening, but I don't know how to invite them out. It's an English speaking tourist place where it's easy to find things to do. Throw a rock in any direction and you'll hit something fun to do. Where is my value, why do they need me? How can I invite them out and not just be a tag-a-long? Mahalo!

I've done a bit of this. The beach is day game, but it's kind of expected that people are checking each other out when everyone is in swimsuits, so you probably don't need to be very shy about it.

Me: Wow, you really fill out that swimsuit.
girl: *smile* thank you
Me: GALNUC (google it)
girl: Actually I'm French. I'm 23. I'm not from around here. My name is Katya. I usually sit at home and watch Sex and the City. You want to hang out? Cool. Here's my number. Call me later.

Run GALNUC on the beach with the direct "fill out the swimsuit" approach. It has worked for me.

What is this GALNUC? I'm google-ing but all i've gotten is 'German Age Location Name Usually Cool'. A little more info would go a long way.

It is a pneumonic device to remember how to progressively time bridge with a HB.

Ask her "Are you German?" Replace with whatever nationality guess you have
Gab with her for a second about how she looked "German to you"(German)
Immediately change the subject and ask her how old she is. (Age)
blah, blah, blah
So are you from around here? (Location)
blah blah blah
What's your name? (Name)
If she asks your name in return it's an IOI
Ask her what she usually does for fun (Usually)
Finally say "Well you seem like a cool person" (Cool)
as if she has won you over and then say "We should hang out so we can talk more." Ask her number and set plans to meet at a beachside restaurant later or even bounce right then and there for an instadate.

If you can remember GALNUC, you can remember the order and the questions.

Thanks, I'll give it a try and post back. When they are sitting or most commonly lying out in the sun, I feel strange holding a conversation standing, but sitting might freak them out. Go for a kneel?

This GALNUC 'device' seems pretty easy and for beginners. Can you run this anywhere? Daygame, clubs?

I think it is pretty easy too. I picked it up from a book about Daygame. Can it be used in the club? I don't see why not.
