| So I have been tinkering with a new approach and I'd like to get some feedback from some seasoned and veteran PUA's, maybe even a mPUA. I call it the workshop approach.
I walk into locations wheres theirs usually a woman who greets you, secretary, sales approach, hostess etc. I walk up to them with a kind smile and say, in a cocky tone, "You look like you've got it all figured out, I'm looking for the (insert here: whatever building, conference center, etc you know here), do you know if it's far?" Then follow up immediately with, "I'm doing a workshop". This, 99% catches their attention and they ask oh yah, a workshop on what. I tell them I do seminars for women on how to meet the man of their dreams. They always act shocked and don't believe me. I tell them it's true, I use various psychological and behavioral techniques to help women overcome genetically programmed behaviors which make them come off as undesirable or unapproachable - or something along those lines - psychobabble. I give them a time constraint and say I'm going to be late if I don't leave soon. Most of the time they ask for further detail but sometimes I have to instigate and provide them with a one time offer only, free demonstration. I feed them a few truisms and Grade 10 biology hokum about body language, facial expressions, whatever, and then follow through with a shot of 2-3 negs and end with ..."maybe you don't have it all figured out then". I always, well, most of the time get this astonished bewildered look from them like "omg, who the hell is this guy, is he for real?". I tell them I have to be on my way and before I leave I say, oh i didn't catch your name and pretend to walk off. While they tell me their name I stand pivoted on my foot side turned towards them, head looking over my shoulder, and I tell them I'll call them, and 8/10 times they responded with "well you'll probably need my number.
Closed. I would appreciate any comments on how to improve this approach and what your thoughts are. Always love to hear constructive criticisms.
