It's all very easy to jump on the Christmas bandwagon when approaching a set, but if you want to mix it up a bit then I have an idea for you.

I'm not really the type to use canned material word for word so I'm not going to script it, and it also means you can word it however you like to suit your style.

Anyway, whenever you're in a mall and sarging, you'll probably at some point early on ask her what she's doing that day. 99.9% of the time, she'll say shopping or meeting a friend, why else would she be at the mall? It's not really the kind of question that's going to spike her interest.

This is your chance to suggest maybe she's returning some of the terrible Christmas gifts she received as well. She won't be expecting it, even if she doesn't find it funny, the uniqueness of the situation and the unexpected remark will put her out of her comfort zone, and most girls in this scenario would let out a little giggle even though it isn't funny.

Now so far, this is nothing. But it opens up the conversation to terrible gifts to receive, making it easy as to build rapport and a great chance for a DHV story. Maybe you bought a girlfriend an awesome gift and all she got you was chocolate, which she knew she'd end up eating most of anyway.

I'm planning to field test this a bit tomorrow so I'll let y'all know if it works out how I expect it to. Suggestions/comments welcome.
