The was an opener that myself and a friend stumbled upon by complete accident while we were away.

We were in Helsinki one night on a Saturday looking for a club to hit and we happened to find a random birthday card on the street with Finnish text inside. Curious, we went around to several groups of 10's (this is Finland btw!) on the streets asking them to translate the card because as we were curious about what it said.

Anyway, everyone wanted to participate and it made every set laugh, it turned out it roughly translated from several groups as "Happy Birthday and try not to smell too much".

What was key to this opener, was it also allowed us to target the girls who had perfect English.

Step 1 - Make a fake Birthday card, tell your first targets your on the way to a party and you need help writing a funny birthday message in their language. Bi-lingual girls love to show off, so it really engages the ego.

Stage 2 - Open more sets with the card.
