There is a girl which I really like, but there are many problems, she is my friend, well we are family friends and my mom and her mom are best friend since high school. We talked some times, mosty about random stuff, never anything serious and it was never a long nor super exciting conversation. This is the first girl that I like and thats also a reason why im scared to approach, because I dont want to get any negative feedback. She's a popular girl, many boys like her and she's almost never single (she is in a relationship right now). Last time when I was talking to her, when she passed her SPAM test I've mentioned her driving us to a ski trip and she was like yeah, we should really go. First of all, She just turned 16. So I agree, anything like trying to make her jealous is going to turn into a huge drama-fest and she'll never talk to you again. The problem with high school girls is that they feel like their social status validates their existence.

What would you say your social status is? Are you both at the same high school? Do you attend any of the same parties that she does?

It was great to try to get her to go on a ski trip too. Hopefully you follow through. this is the ultimate seclusion and you can actually really get to know her. Besides random convos it sounds like you really don't.

Hope she doesn't bring her BF with her for this get away either...ugh. I don't miss high school one bit. hahaha.
