So i've done a few direct openers and i have yet to get a day 2 from them. What exactly am i doing wrong?

Agree more details will definitely help but concentrate on whether you are opening groups or single sets. Also do some self analysis on body language and their reactions to work out how you can improve.

I see hot girl. Try to make eye contact. I walk past them then i turn around and catch up to them. I tape them on the shoulder and get them to do a 180 then say:

Me: Hey you are absolutely beautiful! Tell me everything about you!
Her: Blah blah blah my name is such and such
Me: (I usually ask a question here or something)
Her: Response to question or perhaps a question to me after she answers
Me: Reply
Her: Reply

This goes on for a little bit them

Me: Well i got to get going, before i leave let me get your number. We will talk more and if we like each other we will hangout
Her: Ok my number is XXX_XXX_XXXX

This is a bare bones skeleton cus i have to adapt to the situation / girl

So you get their number but you can't bridge the time gap and get her to pick up the phone or go out with you again. You probably need to DHV a little more, and text her or call her soon after getting her number so that she won't forget about you and you can make sure she enters your name into her phone. That way you don't call her in a week and she see's some new number she doesn't recognize and then doesn't pick up.

Let me elaborate more. I usually call or text them later that day. 95% of the time i get a reply. I usually dont get around to calling them a few days later to set something up and this is where it is shaky on getting a hold of them.

Go practice a 1000 times and than you'll succeed. What do you want? To have a direct opener and for it to work every time because you're making eye contact when you approach? Go out and enjoy the process of getting better, it's going to take a lot of time don't expect to get good at this with just a few approaches..

We'll i am definitely not bad at it. If i would have to rate myself at direct game it would be a 8-9 dependent on the girl. So practice isn't my problem. Perhaps i just need to approach more girls...
