I'm just starting out in this PUA business so I'm still kinda lost.

Yesterday I made my first approach with 0% alcohol in me, though it was just 1 girl and I read Mystery Method, but I really had no practice and I didn't think I could pull it of, so I went direct. Didn't turn out good, though I am proud that I did it, but what i noticed is that big mixed sets intimidate me.

Now, what I observed is that 90% of the time girls have guys in their groups. So my question is, if I open a mixed set, is there any way to go direct and hit on 1 girl without getting cockblocked, or is indirect the only option? Btw it's a nightclub environment, so very very loud.

What are your suggestions as for opening mixed sets in loud places?

In mixed rules opening the guys first is reeeaaally beneficial, not only do you want the guys on your side so they wont cockblock you [befriend them]. It would make it less obvious you are there just to hit on the girl[s]. which puts less pressure on them and makes them feel more comfortable.

the hot girls are never alone btw, so its pretty essential that you learn how to open mixed sets properly.

Good pua's wait a while before starting to hit on the girl. First create interest towards you before you show interest in her.

If you approach the girl directly you will convey lower social value, practically its like saying 'you are better then me, you are the prize and im just another random dude.'

I suggest reading more of mystery method ^^ [for club game ;D]

I agree with the above post. Good information. Disarming the guys in the group are usually the best way to go. If you want to catch girls alone day game is the best thing for you. I pick most of my chicks up from day game.

So basically you can only go direct during the daytime and in rare cases night clubs when there is a girl who's alone, and every other time indirect?

Well during the day it is best to go direct and make your intentions clear since most people are headed some where or maybe in a rush. You may not have an hour with a girl as you would in a club. So its a little different. I use to use indirect openers in the day time but now i noticed more success by just going direct during the day.
