So i have no problem walking up to a chick and steering the conversation into her giving me her number. Im rather good at this. The problem is recently i have not been getting any day 2's or been getting the girls to pick up or respond to my text messages. What is going on here? Before i was going on instant dates with the girls, having them invest more time in me during the first interaction but due to school and taekwondo i have not been able to take girls out on instant dates. How can i get the numbers i get during day game to translate into day 2's?

On a sidenote im trying to show my friend that day game / cold approach works and i have not been able to land a day 2 in about the 5 numbers i've gotten thus far. This is making him not believe this is an effective strategy. I need help here. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Don't approach just to get numbers. They are meaningless.

Approach with the sole intention of having a good time and a great conversation.
That way, when you end the interaction, the woman will miss you and want to talk to you again. At that point you can do a smooth little move like "hey I have to go but I really enjoyed this conversation and would love to continue it some time...but odds are we'll never see each other again"
HB: "yeah I really enjoyed the conversation as well...I could give you my number"

A phone number is not a result, it's only a means to continue the interaction

I understand that. My problem is that when i interact with girls on campus they usually are heading to class leaving me with a very limited amount of time to have a great conversation. I usually catch them inbetween classes so the time just isnt there. Perhaps i need to hit up campus later in the day when people are not busy and i have more time to interact with them.

Smoothy made a great point:the pick up should NOT be about getting #'s.

And the reason for the non response by the girls you # close is because a lack of attraction.Not that they don't find you physically attractive.But that you're not doing enough to attract them with conversation.Girls have no problem giving their #'s to guys they have no intentions of ever speaking to.And when you're just chatting them up for 2 minutes then #-close:she has no reason to wanna connect with you later.

So,try to extend the conversation beyond 5 minutes.If it isn't possible to chat her up more than 2 minutes:then don't get her # just to feel as though you'd accomplished something.

From what I've heard, instant dates are the way to go in day game. Day game numbers have a much higher flake rate than night game.
