I was doing some work a few days ago and received IOI's from a chick that was working at the place where I was. It caught me off-guard as she is a few years older than I am (probably 27), but she is definitely attractive. First, when I was walking across the room which we were in, we crossed paths. She made eye contact and gave me a big smile. I smiled back and let her walk in front of me. I was walking directly behind her towards the row of files that I needed to look that happened to be right beside her desk. She turned around, smiled, and asked me if I was following her. I smiled and said "not at all" then walked past her to the files and began looking for the one that I needed to pull. I looked for about 15 seconds and she asked if she could help me find it, so I let her.

I should have asked her name and tried to follow up with some type of conversation but even though I knew she was interested, I felt as if it would be awkward/inappropriate to game her while she's sitting at her desk trying to do work.

Anyways, I'm going back to this place tomorrow (different room but same building) and have been planning to just bite the bullet and go straight up to her with a very direct approach. That being said, I feel as if the fact that she is working means I have to get in and get out very quickly. I was thinking that a good way to do this and also DHV myself would be to place a false time constraint on the interaction initially such as "I've gottta get back to work but..." or "I only have a second but I wanted to talk to you before I left. What's your name? (tells me her name) I find you attractive and I want you to go out with me."

What do you guys think? Am I right that a direct approach is the way to go? Should I leave out the "I find you attractive" part? I've been reading this site for a while but am still quite a newbie to the game and really would appreciate any advice.

um yeah man, if you are gonna do direct its all about the delivery, just make sure you sound super confident. Also, if you are gonna go straight up and ask her out there is no need for a time constraint since you will most probably leave straight after regardless of what she says. Just go up and ask it, I would do something like this;

"I find you attractive, lets get a drink sometime"

If she says yes;
"Ok meet me at XXX at 8 on Tuesday"

If she says no;
"haha, ok, cya later"
