I've been approaching a lot of girls in the cafeteria in my university, however have been using the same opener, I'll say....

Me: Is anyone sitting here?
Her: No
Me: You're friend isn't gonna come by in a bit and wonder why some random guy has taken her seat is she?
Her: *laughs*..No
Me: Well if she does, she can sit on my lap, I'll shut up and let you guys converse...That way we'll all have a good time.


This has worked very well and generated laughs/giggles 100% of the time...

Wondering what else you guys have in mind though...
