Right, i went out clubbing tonight with a few of my old High School friend (not afc's but not pua's, if you know what i mean)

I made a few approaches myself, and made a few with one of my Friends (one is in a LTR), my openers were, OK, and i put emphisis on OK!! none seemed to get an expressive reaction from the girls. e.g. i opened a set by accident when a girl bumped into me by negging, using the 'Is she always like this?' line, i knew my target within seconds. A tall, slim girl with that metaphorical 'fuck off!' stamp on her head. I then started talking to the 1st girl who bumped into me and asked her to dance, (i genuinely wanted just to dance at this point), she said no. I asked my target, why? in a playful manner as if id asked her how to find the bar or something. And gave me the, 'she has a BF' line, i knew she didnt. i then asked my target for a dance, the same again, BF line??? and all this happened on the floor too, so we were already dancing!!

where did i go wrong!?!!

First, you were trying to get reaction out of girl by opening them. Drop that. Don't be reaction seeking.

Second, you always need to match there energy level or take it a bit higher. No matter what your opening with as long as it's a positive opener.

never ever ever ASK her to dance or get a drink etc. just assume that shes already agreed to it .

take control of the situation , take her hand and say " i wana get a drink , keep me company " or something .

Saying why isn't great either, comes off as a beg, and women instantly detect the desperate stench. Agree with the post above - take more control. It's too easy for 'em to simply say 'No'. Comes back to the whole open/closed question thing.

I agree with smooth99, I do the club scene quite a bit and 9/10 times if i ask a girl to dance she says no....9/10 times if i just grab a girl and start dancing with her she starts dancing. Like smooth says just take control of the situation and be confident and you should be good

agreed never to ask. I like to put my hand out and say spin. they usually will or be like "noo" but in a fun way. energy levels are a must. also the targets must be girls having a fun time. it's pointless trying it on with those kinda girls who bop about trying to look hot. they are waiting to reject someone or for some rich famous geezer to come in and flex his abs. It's a different world on the dance floor as personality is not easily portrayed and you can barely talk [game]. leave the bitches for the real gaming later.

if a set/group blows you out this is what to do.

dance like fucking crazy. no real dance moves are allowed. just fucking go crazy like you don't give a shit. then dance with the next fun girls. this shows the previous set that you couldn't give a. you'll notice proximity. just bum into them and start dancing. just...go...for...it your meanta have fun on a dance floor...
