Decided to make my first contribution as I've only asked questions so far:

This has worked for me in the past, it usually gets a good reaction. Better in a pub in the right setting rather than street game perhaps. But i'm a big believer in meeting women "naturally" i.e. When you're going to the bar for a drink at the same time as them, so it looks like a coincidence rather than approaching on purpose.

I say, "I wouldn't really use the word 'cute' in a sentence. I guess if I would i'd use it to describe you. Thank fuck I don't use it though".

I am not sure I followed you.

Both indirect and direct have got their own advantages. Approaching her to meet her shows a lot of balls, courage, being the man who goes for what he wants. Huge attraction builder.. the quicker you get attraction the quicker you get to mid-game :)
