I'm sure that she is interested, me and my friend were leaning on a wall talking and she walked up to me and asked me to dance. We danced for a few hours and then after leaving the party she gave me her number. How long should I wait before i text her, and what kind of opener would you guys suggest using? Thanks forum

Didn't you talk to her at all while at that party? There shouldn't be a need for an opener, an opener is just to start conversation. When you already know a girl, you really don't need an opener, she is usually willing to talk to you. I know there are rules about waiting X days, but it's never that simple. What do you want to do with this girl? Do you want to get to know her and explore the possibility of dating? Or are you trying to get it in? The former and you wait a couple days and then ask her to get coffee or something simple. If you really didn't talk to her that much you want to hang out in a setting where you can get to know her. If you want to get laid, then I would recommend inviting her to go out with you and your friends next time you go to a party (give her a day or two heads up, before she can make plans with her friends).

I'm pretty much going out to get laid, but i'm not saying that there wouldn't be a possibility of a relationship down the road, right now i'm not sure of how to know if she wants to talk romantically or just be friends. We didn't talk much at the party, I had just started dancing with her and we danced for a few hours and i got her name and number and got to know her a little, like where she's from, what does she do for fun, etc.

Then let's go with option B. Get a plan for the weekend, a specific party you wanna hit with your buddies, and tell her that she should pregame with you. You may still need to spend more time with her to get her to a comfort level where she'll want to hook up. This gives you a couple hours hanging before the party, a couple more there, and some time back at your place.

Sometimes girls at parties just get really drunk and dance/makeout with guys without any real desire to continue seeing them. They just wanna let loose for a night and move on. It's almost like having to redo the set all over again, and I don't know whether this girl falls into that category or not. You know better based on how you two were.
