I was working the drive-thru at my work (for a pharmacy) and a customer who had come in the previous day. After I open the window and give the standard talk, grab her drugs, I saw that we still needed a bit more of her information. While I'm entering it in she yells through the window "My cousin and I think you're really hot". I'm sure a lot of guys get this, it mostly depends on the girls that you run into. My question is, is there a perfect to response to this bold statement? I just acted humbled by it and said thank you but what would you have done instead?

"Thanks" is the perfect response. It communicates that you get this alot. You were correct in not chasing her down and forcing her to give you her number. Some girls just like to compliment people because it spreads happiness. Play it cool, and next time you see her, you have a good opportunity. My approach would be to say, "Are you single?" balls out and work from there.
