ok so i just thought up a daygame pre-opener to number close scenario in the day goes like this:
me:"hey can i ask you something?" (pre-opener)
her: "what"
me: "do you know where the nearest starbucks is?" (any kind of directions or time opener)
her: yeah over there
me: actually thats not what i wanted to ask. she pauses then you tell her that you actually liked something about her, like her cloths or style. and then introduce yourself. if shes into it she will also introduce herself and then go about some basic chit chat and maybe crack a joke or something. then tell her your going to be meeting a friend and that you would like to invite her and her friends out for a party or club sometime and take her number.


Does anyone think this might work? i planned on just doing the asking for directions thing and then ejecting to get used to opening but then when i got the balls to go further throw in the other part. does this sound like a good plan?

I just saw a video on youtube where the guy did basically that EXACT thing, then went on to have a 5 minute conversation with her, number close, and got her to go into starbucks with him.
