I actually had a girl use kino on me. My doctor recommended that I take a pilates class to build on my own flexibility to deal with back pain. So I looked at the schedule at my health club and decided a class called 'Mat Pilates' fit my schedule best and I went to it. As I was waiting in line outside for the class to start, I noticed that all the other people around me also waiting had brought their own mats. So as I go into the class room, the instructor was holding the door open, and I ask her if I should have brought my own mat. She laughed and said something like 'no of course not' and playfully slapped me on the arm, with her touch lingering a little bit, which seemed right out of any kino playbook. Haha the funny thing was it wasn't a joke, it was just my first time taking pilates and I was focused on not looking like an idiot rather than any sort of pickup. The instructor was pretty hot, at least an 8, tall, blonde, nice rack, etc. When the class was over I thanked her and she seemed to be giving clear IOI's with eye contact and wishing me a good night and such.

Well, I thought pilates might be a good place to meet women since it is so popular with them. I was the only guy in there with about 15 attractive fit women, but it's really not a social activity. Before the class the instructor is setting up and afterwards she is cleaning up. Any suggestions on how I can escalate to getting her digits?

Its her job to be flirty and create KINO. She needs to make you feel comfortable enough to want to come back for more classes.

Yeah, DHV is a good idea. I think I've done a little of that already: (1) I wore a shirt that advertises I'm from the physics department (it's a university health club) so people automatically assume I'm smart, and (2) being a guy in pilates class already sets me apart from other guys. But what do I do from here? I was thinking about making some joke like "oh you remember me? I thought I'd have trouble standing out" which would be funny, but not very cocky. There is very little time for interaction, and the environment is rather, um.. boring.
