| Before I continue, I must commit: Because I'm dutch, I only have the dutch equivalent of Facebook. However, running game should be pretty much equal.
Don't rely on FB. That is rule #1. You say you've met this girl, so you must strive to meet her again IRL. Gaming her on Facebook through comments isn't going to bring you any further (instead, you might try IM or the FB chat). You have to be really creative to stand out from all the other guys that comment her.
FB is only useful to keep her in your head and show her that you have a social life. You could ask her if she has any plans for clubbing where you can meet her, but a coffee-close through FB is very rare. It only happens if she is already really attracted to you.
Let me give you an example:
Last monday I played a beachvolleyball-match, where a female friend of mine came watching me. She had a female friend with her, let's call her HB8. Me, my volleyball-partner, my friend and HB8 talked for a few minutes, nothing special. I kept my eyes on her and thought to notice something which could be interpreted as an IOI. Hardly noticeable, but IMO she kept eyecontact for a few seconds too long.
As the girls headed home, and I was going to take a shower, I commented on her cap: 'Nice cap. I believe I have one like that as well', after which she said it was a girls-thingy and I said something in reply.
Next day, I commented her with 'Okay, I've checked again, and luckily I don't have the same cap as you do'. She responded (small IOI, as there was no question in my comment), I replied, she told me she was going clubbing tonight, I said something (no question), she replied (IOI #2) and that's it. I didn't advance any further.
I am the price, I hardly know her, I don't give a damn about who she is and if she likes me, she could have read that I will be in club X tonight. If she's not there, no problem, I will probably meet her again some other time, but I've got better things to do than hitting on her.
Now this may not be the best solution that there is, but I'm no online-game-guru. Various other things might work. Example: The best natural I know, has a great reputation and always has cute girls around him. Few days ago, I've checked out his comments. They almost made me cry. The AFCness displayed through his comments was incredible. If I didn't know better, I supposed he had to be a loser. But do girls care? Heck no. They know him, they know his reputation, he can get away with this.
My point being here: Don't rely on Facebook. Your Facebook comments can never display who you really are. Although commenting once in a while can't hurt.
