I love to use this when I see a cute store clerk...

Me: Hey, can I get your help on a couple of things?

Her: Yeah, sure.

Me: Firstly, I need a good shirt that brings out my eyes and second, I need someone charming and fun to help me find it.

(She'll then probably giggle and lead you over to some clothing section)

You don't even need to buy whatever she shows you, just tease her and say that what she picked out isn't your style. Then tease her for not being a good fashion adviser (it's a fun neg). If the set goes well enough you can ask her for her number so you can 'ask for fashion advice'. They always laugh at this and I've always got a number with it.
