In class today, one of the hottest girls I've seen in my life sits one row in front of me. She very clearly wants a guy to talk to, and talks to the guy next to her. She even does the standard hair flips indicating interest, but the guy has zero conversational skills, and the chat dies.

I was strategizing during class about how to approach her and start a convo, but I didn't get a chance because she immediately talked to him after class and then immediately left to talk to her friend. This girl is probably 1-2 years older than me (it's mostly a sophomore-junior level class, and I'm a freshman). Now, if you're in my shoes, what exact steps do you take next?

If the guy has no conversational skills just say 'Let me sit here for a while now thanks ' he's not going to disagree from what I've heard.That's what I would do and then when you're sitting next to her don't say a word the first few minutes cuz she'll be thinking 'Who is this guy and why does he want to set next to me' and she'll probably might even open you about why you wanted to sit there.I'd reply something that doesn't tell her it's because of her.
