Wasup guy's Karas here.Just been thinking a lot lately about the art of going direct.
I was watching a video by Alex coulson were he opens a beautiful brunette with,

Hi I know this is a bit random, you probably get this all the time but,I just noticed you from over there and I have to say you are absolutely stunning.Hi i'm alex.

Her face lit up like the 4th.

I wanted that.One weekend me and a friend were heading back to the dorms for the night and there is this girl that work's at the front desk, She looked real tired and actually upset that she had to be there, after all it was 2:00am.It just hit me like a brick. I simply walked up to the desk and with a gentle smile I delivered the line.

The next morning when I was leaving, with a beautiful smile on her face she came all the way around the desk just to talk to me.Score 1 for direct.

Now don't get me wrong I'm not downing going indirect, I know for a fact that certain situation call for it.It's just sometimes it feel's good getting your intention's out from the start.I just think it take's the three P's that every one of us should have.

Now I don't know my chances of success yet.And that is why I'm devoting this weekend to going direct.I'ma keep what work's and toss what does'nt .And I know I will get turn down at some point but, through failure I shall succeed.Wish me luck.

Also if anyone has some good direct line's that would help.I would be most appreciative.

I am loving direct. I still don't have the confidence to use it consistently, but when necessary, I love it and it works great. Congrats!

From my experience with gong direct that it has nothing to do with what you say and alot to do with how you deliver it..

If your at a party or something try to look as sincere and genuine as possible when you deliver. And if its with an HB9-HB10 make sure you put a false time constraint and have some sort of situational story to follow up with.. Just dont do the mistake of turning the post approach into an interview process..

Also, Like don't get sloppy and drink too much. Because girls get guys with "beer confidence" slobbering al over them and telling them they're pretty all the time. I always only approach direct, cuz i find opinion openers kind of cheesy and artificial...

I've had some very mixed results with direct approaches... sometimes they have no interest in sticking around and leave (somewhat rudely while you're talking even), sometimes they're curious and will give you a chance, and sometimes they're fully receptive and responsive unless you do something significantly bad (people from other countries fall into this category - by far the easiest to open and close). I've gone direct many times and the girl (non-tourist) has only really lit up... a few times. Granted my presentation could have been improved/changed, but you have to be careful about what situation you use it in... I guess calibration is the key as usual!

THEY WALK AWAY WHEN YOU DON'T EMPHASIZE THE FALSE TIME CONSTRAINT!!!! Make it short and sweet!! then on ur second approach you can actually say what you want!!
