Ok so i'm new to this community but i've been working at a smoothie/coffee joint at fairs with a guy who has the same comedic vibes as i do so we pretty much think of funny things to say to people. I came up with this one today. I will post "routines" that are normal to me later on but this one is fresh in my head right now and im loving it. I will dictate it as it SHOULD go from both sides.

You will need a 2 set for this one.

I call it Name Game. I give my routines names because some of them are built around having a wing and my wings and i call our our plays before we open up a set.

I have not field tested this but i will let you know how it goes after tomorrow night hopefully.

Ok so here it goes. Name Game

Me: Hey, how's it going I'm Andy.
Girl1: Hi Andy, I'm Ashley."

I reach for her hand and upon letting go I reach for the second girl's hand

Girl2: Stephany
Me: Stephany; Richard. Nice to meet you
Girl2: Richard?
Me: Ya, Richard, as in Sweet Richard. (she laughs) why's that so funny?
Girl 1: (laughing) is it Andy or Richard?


There are a million ways to go from this. Sometimes when I get a girl's name I hold back on telling her my name. When she insists that I tell her I'll express how my name has nothing to do with who I am and that it was just picked out by my parents. I will proceed to tell her there are much more important things she should ask to get to really know a person.

Once i test this in the field i'll see what I get for reactions. Comments and questions are appreciated. I like to go with a comedic approach as long as it is funny to me. Even if they don't get it or if they get it and they hate me I'm still having a laugh and my wings will usually think its funny. I will explain myself further on my profile at another time. I just came up with this one and sent it to my friend and I figured I'd post it here for other people to try out.

Thats pretty good man, after reading your post I was thinking of try it out but in a different name.

I go by my first name at parties, but my nick name is very well known.

What do you think of first introducing my self as my surname; and the introducing my self as my nick name to the 2nd woman? It would have a similar effect, no doubt.

Ya definitely put your own spin on it. If i come up with a name that's more funny I'll use it, but that's just my style. I personally think using a nickname with your surname may come off wrong, but who knows. I haven't field tested this yet so its not really developed, just a new routine I came up with at like 4am.

I like to make people laugh, if that works and I don't pick up the girl then I still win. Other people may also observe me making people laugh and that builds up my value. But that's just my style. Everybody has their own angles for the same thing.

Try your way. If it doesn't work try mine, even if its a different name. I like to use names i think are funny like Charles, Harold, Stewart, Benjamin.

You can even tell your non-target that you gave your target a fake name because you don't like her vibes.
