I work at a grocery store. It gets pretty boaring so I do enjoy having conversations with coustomers to pass the time. I am often approached by women for basic questions and stuff. Most times this starts a small conversation that usually ends abrubtly. Any ideas on picking up women in a grocery store?

I used to work in a clothing store and was in the same situation, I would compliment on something they have on and turn it into a playful neg, usually they stay just out of curiousity. then use getting back to work as a false time constraint
