walking by opener

ok so i have a question..say for example ur walking in the mall and u see a girl or girls walking opposite ur direction, just passing by..whats the best way to open a set, besides grabbing the girls arm and physically stoping her to talk to her?

Stop and hold your hand up while saying 'Hey' in a lound voice will also do the trick. Whe will stop then proceed with opinion/direct opener.

Now I've had problems with the same setting when hse is on the phone or ipod ...

Don't ever grab her arm to stop her. Also - moving sets that are walking in the opposite direction are not very good targets.

The person 2 posts above me has a good point.

I wouldnt open a moving set in opposite direction at all. Thats just me. I would make good eyecontact if possible, be smiling, and then wait for the target(s) to calm down, have a seat, or wait for the moment when you are walking in the same direction.

I would think you could just as they pass act like you just thought of something to ask them. then use and opinion opener such as excuse me i just need a women's view on this,.... or excuse me can i get your opinion on something. then move on from there.
